It’s MEMORIAL DAY weekend already!

Okay! Why is it already the end of May of 2020?  It was just yesterday that the new year began and I had released a new book, Gabriel’s Many Gifts, right?  For some reason, this year has few by, but then again, what a year we’ve already endured.  Like so many out there, this year has been a rough year so far and the Covid19 virus has turned everyone’s lives upside down and it’s still causing major problems for so many.  Everything that’s been going on is like a dystopian book and when will it end.  My heart truly goes out to everyone and I pray this nightmare is over real soon so we can go back to our normal lives.  But what will our normal lives be when all is said and done? That sure is something to think about isn’t it?

How many of you have had to stay at home?  I have been working my day job the whole time, but for several weeks it’s been at home.  This year has took a toll on me and for some reason my immune system decided to be out of whack that I catch everything easily, but I am slowly feeling like me again.  The first months of this year I’ve been sick and I am just getting back to being myself.  I still have my good days and bad, but with God’s help, I will be fine.  I’m thankful I have a job that will let me work from home so I can recover.  I sure hope you all are well and staying safe right now.

This year will go down in the record books for sure.  I mean the next few months really can’t be as bad as the first of the year, can it?  I believe, if everyone would turn to Jesus and pray that things would turn around.  God has been waiting on us to cry out to Him during this time and now is the time to pray.  Maybe we will never go back to our old normal, but a brand new normal that will be even sweeter.

Since I’ve had a rough few months this year, I haven’t gotten to write.  I started my next book and wrote several chapters, but the world went crazy and I haven’t felt like writing.  Sometimes I try to write but my energy level drops and it’s difficult.  So much has happened this year that  went past and I even forgot to celebrate.  Last Heartbeat had a six year birthday in March.  Mother’s Day couple weeks ago, so Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers!  How is it already Memorial Day Weekend already?  I mean this year has flown by and now June will be here soon.  Happy Memorial Day to all who have served and still serving so we all can be safe and free.  Thank you all for all you have done and will do!

Today is the first time that I wrote in about six months.   I was reading the words I wrote in my new book, and those words reminded me how much I love to write.  Soon I will write again and I look forward to finishing my next book because it is something dear to my heart, plus I want to share it with my readers.  How many of you have read my last book, Gabriel’s Many Gifts?  If you have read it, please leave some good reviews for me, I really appreciate your reviews.  Looking for something to read during this Covid19 virus, make sure you check out All My Books.  Reading them will make you feel better because my stories always have a happy ending.

As you all know, about five years ago, my life took a different route that lead me to my new future.  If you need to catch up, go to my Past Post and read My Back Post.  Anyway, I am blessed with my husband, Dave, my handsome two sons, a sweet daughter in law, my sweet grandson, and a sweet new girlfriend of my oldest son.  Yes, I am blessed for sure!  With everything in the world, upside down, I have so much to be thankful for and there will be a praise once all is better, and even if it’s not, than a praise will always be one my lips for my Jesus.  Life is so much sweeter and more peaceful, if you know my Jesus.

So keep your head held high and keep on fighting the good fight during this time.  We all struggle through life from time to time, but make sure you never give up.  There is always something good that will come out of the storms of life.  God Bless You All!!

Meet Gabriel Ryan

After a long time of not publishing a book, I’m happy to say Gabriel’s Many Gifts is officially finished and is now available for purchase.  Buy links provided at bottom of page.

Let’s get to know Gabriel Ryan a little bit.  You will get his full story in Gabriel’s Many Gifts.  First of all, have you read the other Last Heartbeat series books?  If not I advise you to read those books in the series first. This is how to read them so you will be prepared for Gabe’s story.   Last Heartbeat is the first book in the series, the second book is The Life Gift and third is One More Life. Although Gabriel’s Many Gifts is a prequel, I recommend you to read the books in order as I wrote them.

Now let’s get back to Gabe’s story.  Gabe is the older brother of Phillip Ryan and he loves to play football and surf.  He is a well-loved guy in high school and stands up for his friends. Gabe hates bullies but loves the beach.  He has everything going for him but what if he could plan for the future at a young age? His planning is what sets the storyline of the whole Last Heartbeat Series.  It was his planning that lives would be changed for so many and for some he never knew. What if you could be like Gabe and do what he did in planning for the future? Who knows what will happen and the lives that could be changed?  Are you up for the challenge that may set the future for so many as Gabe did? Even at the end of his story, Gabe continues to set his future and make changes that he himself will always be grateful for. Now if you want to read Gabriel’s full story, be sure to get your copy of Gabriel’s Many Gifts that is now available for purchase.

Thanks to all of you who read my stories!!!

Time – Confusion – Revival

One thing is for certain time happens.  Everyday time goes by and things you want to do somehow gets behind.  Daily you try your best to get all the task you set out to do, but somehow time is too fast, and the day is over in a blink of an eye.  Now that it’s been almost four years since I published a book, I hope my fans are patiently waiting on the next one, at least I’m praying they are.  Like time that goes by, I have finished the last book in Last Heartbeat Series and will be released soon.  This book is the prequel and the name is Gabriel’s Many Gifts.   If you’ve read Last Heartbeat Series, you know who Gabriel is, but if you haven’t, now is the time to read the series before upcoming release, to be caught up.  This will be the last book in the series.  It’s sad that it’s coming to an end, but I have new ideas and stories that I need to write and yes, I’ve already began writing my next book.  They are wanting to be written so bad and I’m writing them as fast as time allows.  I write clean romance stories and I’m planning on writing christian romance next,  plus an autobiography that I want to write.  I’m praying for God’s guidance.  I always want to write, so I can share Him with each of my readers.  Each day, if time allows me, I will continue to write, little by little, and maybe sooner rather than later, my readers will get the finished novel they patiently been waiting on.

As I continue my journey writing, I plan on writing under my new name.  Hopefully my new name will not cause confusion, and that it will be an easy transformation from T R Lykins to Tina Stewart.  If you left a review under T R Lykins, it probably will be taken down, and if you would please leave another under Tina Stewart, I’d appreciate it!! Confusion may keep past readers from keeping up with what’s next in my writing journey.  Who knows, the new name and book covers will bring old and new readers to read my stories in the future. Please understand the name change happened when I got married to my wonderful husband.  One thing about my husband, I’m not confused about why he’s in my life, it’s because God sent me a blessing, just when I needed it.

Revival happens when old things are revived.   All my books are revived with beautiful new covers and I can’t wait to show the newest covers.  With revival of these new covers, my husband and I plan on attending author signings in the future.   This will all happen as soon as time allows it, and the next part of our journey will be with all of you.  Hope you all enjoy the new covers as much as I do!! Can’t wait until every gets to hear Gabriel’s story!!

Hope you love Gabriel’s Many Gifts’ book cover below!!

Happy Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads who have been there for their children.   The dads who stepped up and took care of other dad’s kids, are special dads.  My hope is that every dad has a special day on Father’s Day.  If your dad is still with you, take a moment to thank him for being your dad on Father’s Day and everyday.

Not all dads can be celebrated on Father’s Day because they are no longer with us, but take a moment and think about him this day.  My dad is one who is in heaven with Jesus and although I miss him, I would rather him to be with Jesus.  Happy Father’s Day, Dad!!  One day, when it’s time for me to come to heaven, I’ll get to see you again and that day will be celebrated forever.

Happy Father’s Day to my husband, Dave!! You have stepped into your role as a dad and have been exceptional role model to our boys.  You came into their lives when they were older, but you’ve quickly showed them love and a godly influence they needed.  Thank you, for all you do for us and allowing us to be truly loved by you.

Happy Father’s Day to my youngest son, Timothy!! Your baby boy will soon be here and I know you’ll love him with all your heart.  Always allow God to lead you in your role model as a dad and you’ll never go wrong.  I look forward to seeing you as dad and watching you grow into the father, I know you’ll become.

Happy Happy Father’s Day!!

Happy Mother’s Day

My wish is for all Mothers have a wonderful and blessed Mother’s Day.  Proverbs 31:10-31 says it best and my husband has always told me, I remind him of these verses.

Proverbs 31:10-12

10:  Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

11:  The heart of her husband doth safety trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

12:  She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

14 She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

17 She girdeth her loins with. strength, and strengtheneth her arms.

18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.

23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise.

As we read these verses understand, it’s hard to be this way sometimes, but always stride to be all God wants us to be and even on the days when the storms are raging, remember you’re not ever alone.

As mothers, we should be the light of our families no matter how hard it can be and how tired you feel.  It is our responsibility to shine through it all, even when we want to hide from it all, remember in these times, you’re not ever alone.

As mothers sometimes we make a mess of everything and even in the mess, we have to fight our way out and learn so the future messes will be less.  In the mess of life, remember you’re not ever alone.

As a mother, you’re not supposed to be perfect, because no one is.  Everyday is a learning experience and be blessed you have another day to always learn to be better at motherhood.  Even on the days you throw up your hands and say ‘I give up!’, just remember you’re never alone.

Jesus said he’d never leave us or forsake us and He always keeps his promises.  That means even in today’s world, we are never alone.

May you find strength in these verses to keep going and learning to be the best mother you can be.  You are strong women, who have many roles in this life.  Make this life fun and be happy always, even when you struggle.  Life is not always easy, but knowing, you’re never alone will make each day a little bit easier.

Happy Blessed Mother’s Day

Last Heartbeat’s Fourth Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to my first book, Last Heartbeat  (March 27, 2014).  How did four years go by so fast?  It sure has been a blessing to share my book with all my friends and family.  Hope that everyone who has taken the time to read, Last Heartbeat, has enjoyed my story as much as I have while writing it.  While writing Last Heartbeat, I laughed and cried along with my characters as they came to life and during their ups and downs.  I was scared to publish the story and sharing it with everyone.  Knowing this story wasn’t for everyone, but to the people who love this type of story and genre, it’s for you, and that’s why I published Last Heartbeat.

What is Last Heartbeat about?  It’s about young love and this love comes together after a battle for life.  “Just hang on a little longer…”  There is heartache and pain that ends in happily ever after.  I was sitting and thinking about my dad and his heart condition one day, wondering why the doctors never mentioning heart transplant.  Then suddenly a story began developing inside my head that I had to write.  No, my dad never did get a heart transplant because he didn’t fit the criteria, and now has went home to heaven.  My dad was proud of me for writing my novels and told everyone about them, even took some books for me and sold them.  Yes, Last Heartbeat is about a fictional but real life heart transplant recipient, who struggles to get her life back and to live a normal life.  She strives to live a normal life that leads her to have a special connection with a guy, and that connection goes beyond what you normally think.

Last Heartbeat

Alexia has fought hard to over come a tragic illness in her past. Barely getting on with her life, she finally leaves home to enter the real world. This first big step makes her appreciate all that she has struggled with. This next step in her life, also leads her to a possible heartbreak. How can Alexia keep up with all of her struggles and keep going on?

Phillip has lost someone close to him when he was younger. This person was the most important person in his life. He has struggled to get past this loss, and once he does, he finds out something about his favorite person that makes him feel the hurt all over again. Why can’t Phillip move on for good? Can he really forgive someone in the past, if they no longer live?

A chance meeting has Alexia and Phillip spending hours talking. This sparks an attraction for each other. Every day, running into each other makes the attraction grow stronger until they finally give in to it. When another accident strikes, both of their pasts come barreling back to haunt them. Can they move forward knowing the secrets they now know about one another? How much more can two broken people endure? Will they find their way back into one another’s arms or have they finally come to a breaking point in life?

Here is a book trailer for Last Heartbeat, hope you enjoy.  Click on the link below.

Last Heartbeat was supposed to end up as a standalone book, but the other characters in the story would not keep quite, and they made me end up writing two more books in the series, The Life Gift (second book) and One More Life  (third book).  I still have one more story in this series that needs to be written and have started it but life threw me some curve balls so I’m behind on writing.  Check out this link here to read about what happened.  Where has T R Lykins gone….

Even in the darkest of days, I found out that God was with me and had a plan for me.  I could not see it at the time, but now I see it perfectly clear.  God opened my eyes (Acts chapter 9 versus 3 to 6) and my heart.  To read all about what God has blessed me with click on this link.  Merry Christmas and God bless all…

To celebrate Last Heartbeat’s Birthday, all of my ebooks are on sale for the low price of 99 cents or 99 pennies.  Hope everyone has patience with me until I get back to writing and the next part of my journey in life.  I will be writing in the future under my new name and not my pen name T R Lykins so stay tuned.

So let’s all celebrate Last Heartbeat’s Birthday by sharing this post and the links to buy the story!!!  Thank each and everyone for taking a chance on my story.

May God bless you all!!!

Happy Birthday Last Heartbeat!!!  Hope you all fall in love with Alexia and Phillip!!!

Merry Christmas And God Bless All!!!

Wait!!! How did it get to be Christmas so fast??  Really it was just spring, yesterday…right?  I hope everyone had an incredible spring, summer, and fall!
I’m still here and haven’t run off anywhere….but sometimes, I sure feel like it.  My summer was amazing and that’s why I’m writing to you to share some news.  First of all, I’m sorry, I haven’t been writing my next book.  Hopefully, that will take place in the future, but right now, I have not had the time.  If you haven’t picked up any of my previous four books, please do so now, while on sale for, $.99 cents per e-book copy.  Audiobooks too!!  I sure would appreciate it and definitely would love a review.
Okay, back to sharing my amazing summer with you!!!  Are you ready for some news??? My news sure is HUGE!!!
If you have read any of my previous blog post, you know a little of what has been going on in my life over 2 and a half years.  Go here to refresh your memory.  As you know, God brought someone into my life that has made me extremely happy.  Well this summer….we got married!! That’s right folks, you read that right.  If we decided on a long engagement, I would have told you sooner, but we decided not to wait any longer.  Dave asked me on a Saturday and the very next Friday, we got married. We had a small ceremony at a lake with only a few of our family and friends, of course, there was a beach at the lake.   My two sons, Nicholas and Timothy gave me away, but Timothy said “share”…lol.  Timothy didn’t want to completely give me away, but he loves his step-dad.   I loved everything about our wedding and blessed with family who got to come and share our day.
Song of Solomon 3:4
But I found him whom my soul loveth.
Well now you know why I’ve been so busy.  The Lord above has blessed me with my amazing husband.  I am thankful and blessed everyday that I get to spend with him and our boys.  Life is too short not to trust God with the future, because he already knows what’s ahead.  Often in life, we get stressed of what is ahead of us, but if you trust in the Lord and let Him guide you, life will be easier to handle.
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Luke 1:37
For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Sometimes in life, we get set backs on what we thought was good, but come to find out, it wasn’t.  I’ve turned back to trusting the Lord in all things and without Him in my life it would be a total wreck.  Keep trusting in the Lord, even if, you don’t understand the things you are going through….He sees the future, remember that always, and you’ll get the blessing in the end.
Take time to remember the reason for the Christmas season…
Luke 2:11
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:13
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
….with each present you wrap for the people in your life, pray a blessing for them, and that they may be wrapped in God’s love.  As baby Jesus received gifts while in His manager, remember that Jesus is our Gift for salvation.  Hug each special person this Christmas, and if they don’t know about baby Jesus, and what His life meant for us, tell them, that He came as the Most Special Gift of all.  Show everyone love the way Jesus did for His gift of life to us, by His birth and blood for our salvation.
Luke 19:10
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
  Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
My friends this is the true meaning of Christmas!!!!!  God blessed each of you!!!
Thank you all for being apart of my writing journey!!!!
Okay it’s time to share photos!!!  FYI…in the near future I plan on updating all my books to reflect my new name…keep an eye out….
A wedding doesn’t have to cost a fortune, just have lots of love.  These are just a few of our hundreds of photos of the day.
Hope everyone enjoyed sharing our day with us!!
Now it’s time to begin a new journey in my life with my Preacher Husband and I’m excited to be apart of his life, plus to see what God has in store for us.
Who knows, I may even finish another book in the future…
